The Department of Biomedical Engineering produces information on an international scale that can add value when working in different sectors, knows and uses the basics of Biomedical Engineering and the details of its expertise very well, can conduct original research, produces information on a universal scale, shares the information it produces, and educates contemporary biomedical engineers. It has adopted the mission of being a department that has a share in Turkey's scientific and technological accumulation by turning knowledge into action, that can transfer the knowledge and technology it produces to the industry, that shares its knowledge and experience with the society and industry, and that can apply continuous development to itself.
