MESSAGE FROM THE DEPARTMENT CHAIR

Faculty of Technology, Department of Biomedical Engineering; It aims to train engineers with knowledge, skills, competence and competence by learning basic engineering concepts and theories based on the culture and values of universal science and contemporary education. Our dynamic academic staff is a multidisciplinary team that produces diagnostic (diagnostic), healing (therapeutic) and regenerative (regenerative) devices and solutions for the health sector by applying engineering principles required in both field studies that require technology and engineering knowledge and academic studies to the fields of medicine and biology. provides an engineering education.

Biomedical engineering, which is in close cooperation with the medical world, is an engineering branch based on scientific fields such as electronics, computers, mechanics, materials and genetics. Examples of applications of biomedical engineering; development of medical imaging systems and software, development of devices for measurement and analysis of biological signals, development of clinical diagnosis and treatment devices, production of biomaterials and implants, development of regenerative tissue, development of personalized treatment methods, production of pharmaceutical drugs and therapeutic biologics. In this direction, Biomedical Engineering undergraduate and graduate programs are structured on basic engineering, life sciences and professional engineering courses and practices.
